MgA. Jiří Žežula

born 1989 Replica Ceramics is a Prague-based ceramic brand founded by designer MgA. Jiří Žežula, creating handcrafted objects. Its work balances between applied and fine art in small batches and limited editions. The collections are distinguished by their industrial aesthetic and an unconvetional approach to technical execution.

Founded in 2020, Replica Ceramics explores innovative techniques and processes to develop distinctive forms and uniquely structured objects.

Jiří Žežula graduated in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Sculpture / Ceramics from the faculty of Ladislav Sutnar’s Design and Art in Pilsen, CZ.

Following his studies, he moved to Berlin, DE, where he lived and worked while establishing the Replica Ceramics brand.

In 2021, he returned to Prague, CZ, and co-founded the ceramic studio Hlinotéka.

Today, he works from his independent studio in Prague’s Vinohrady district, continuing to develop original ceramic works and limited-edition collections.
