Proto-Relics is a series of ceramic objects presented as fictional artifacts from a post-apocalyptic future. One part of the series works with fragments of an imagined material culture and simulates the reconstruction of a visual language (symbols, signs, pictograms) whose original meanings have been erased. The second part presents hypothetical relics from whose structures this language emerges.
